Holding Multiple Perspectives
Learning to hold multiple perspectives at once helps us to feel more capable and grounded in ourselves. We feel less like we need to inflate or retreat.
We can let ourselves bend and flex to what is showing up emotionally and externally through awareness of what sensations are showing us without the need to give the shadow most of the attention.
When we don’t like something we tend to make it the biggest thing in the room.
So if we can see everything as information, nothing is there to stop us or to make us inflate our ego, it’s just information.
The ability to feel everything and assimilate the feelings through a mind that’s connected to the heart, helps us think critically using multiple perspectives at the same time.
The heart brings in the quantum perspective, the mind when working at expanded levels includes much more possibility that we can work with and our range of emotional access greatly increases when we stop narrowing our focus on what we don’t like or are trying to avoid.
We can discern the incoming feelings without having to react to them.
For example, we can feel ourselves getting defensive over a perceived critical remark and at the same time notice the defensive reaction within by seeing it for what it is and also soften to be able to remain teachable.
Nothing needs to go away or change, we just need to gain a larger capacity to hold the multiplicity of more.
It’s a skill learned through practice and not letting negative feelings take the upper hand.
For example when we feel a familiar sense of shrinking in the face of a familiar life situation like an overbearing spouse we don’t let that one feeling overpower everything else. We can see that we are tending towards that direction and stop it in its tracks by letting more be there too.
We let more be there by not shrinking into the identity who deals with overbearing behaviors by making ourselves smaller in the face of them.
Or vice versa, maybe the defensive identity comes into play in these situations and we puff up to combat pain. It’s usually either one of these choices when identities are concerned because they are concerned with survival and protection.
When we no longer want to let survival and protection rule our actions we can choose something else.
There is always more there if we are willing to allow it to be there.
The solutions, the better choice, the more elevated choice for all involved is right there too.
So much of how we operate can be through the lens we dread because we don’t like the feelings that come along with it.
And that impending dread feels like the biggest thing that’s there.
It’s habitual, the constricting or the inflating to avoid feeling the constricting. That’s the pendulum. Constrict or inflate.
Instead we can allow the third option to be able to feel multidimensionally.
It’s clears the gravity of the old way and lets what else is here to be included in our choices.
Choices become conscious, more integrated, more whole.
If we notice ourselves tending towards pendulum swinging behaviors we can ask, “What else is here?”
We open the loop, we can bring in whatever the antidote is to the inflation or constriction to neutralize its desire for action and then we can feel a better way to move forward.
First we neutralize the pendulum of ego smallness and/or bigness then we can see clearly.
Then we can see what gnost is showing us. What deeper intelligence has to share.
When we become aware of our emotional and mental habits when dealing with life we break the chains of acting from them. We stop identifying with them as who we are.
When our identity with them ceases we no longer automatically do the things we always did.
We create new pathways in our nervous systems so the automated responses stop happening like they used to.
We enter into new timelines this way. New dimensions of experience.
We stop relying on coping mechanisms to find relief from duality because we are giving ourselves what we need organically. Through our genuine curiosity, attention and our innate ability to neutralize polarity we are able to include all the potentials. You tap into your re-source, your power.
Then we know how to move towards behaviors that embody a new experience in every moment.
We can tap into our ability to see through duality this way, take the blinders off and take actions that are needed, that are letting you express more authentically by taking polarity action out of the equation so we can be more fully ourselves.
